This ambitious progressive rock project is a unique sonic journey, an odyssey inspired by ANKH, the ancient Egyptian key symbolising eternal life. The album takes the listener on a cosmic exploration that spans from Earth to the Moon and the planets of the solar system, each evoked by the names of ancient gods. Through cosmic rhythms and vibrant energies, “ THE SOUND OF THE SPHERES/ IL SUONO DELLE SFERE encourages a vision that transcends the boundaries of earthly existence, reminding us that “matter is but stardust, the divine is our vital flame, the spiritual energy from which all arises.”
The original music that comprises this sonic universe stems from the creative synergy between PAOLA TAGLIAFERRO and PIER GONELLA, featuring intense and profound lyrics by
P. TAGLIAFERRO. The album also boasts the valuable poetic collaboration of CLAUDIO POZZANI on the track “MARTE” and JOSE’ PULIDO on “PLUTONE.”
A distinctive element of this work is its captivating cover, the result of collaboration between Paola Tagliaferro and the talented young contemporary artist FIAMMA DILETTA CREMONESE. FiIAMMA’s works have deeply impressed the author with their ability to represent the spirituality of the human body. Starting from a photograph of PAOLA’s form, FIAMMA has managed to evoke an ethereal and powerful vision: the light of the astral body projected towards the celestial spheres.
